Hour of Code In-Person
For ages 8-12 - Learn the ins and outs of coding through animations, apps, games, and more. Due to equipment constraints, computers are limited to the first 8 participants.
Beginners will focus on the building blocks of coding like loops and conditionals. Intermediate coders will build on beginning concepts to create more advanced coding projects.
To promote independence, parents whose tweens are under 11 years old may enjoy the library during the program. 12-year-olds may be left unattended.
Children's events and activities are sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Learn more and support the Friends at www.ccpl.us
