Library Lessons In-Person

Join us for lessons at the library. Each month, we'll cover concepts in art history and STEAM, have a special activity, and host a book club. These activities are for school-aged children and their families

January 25: Using the Library's Resources - Learn some of our favorite tips and tricks for using the library's resources

February 1: Book Club - Read the first five chapters of Charlotte's Web by E. B. White, available to check out at the library and on Hoopla. We'll discuss the book and have a hands-on activity

February 8: Art - Learn about about Ted Harrison and arctic art; create your own masterpiece

February 15: STEAM - Discover the science of the physical features and history of Earth, also known as geology, and make some cool discoveries

February 22: Black History Month

March 1: STEAM - Learn about the science of light. 

March 8: Art - Learn about about Frida Kahlo; create your own masterpiece

March 15: Book Club - Read chapters 6-11 of Charlotte's Web by E. B. White, available to check out at the library and on Hoopla. We'll discuss the book and have a hands-on activity.

Mar 22: Let's Laugh

Mar 29: STEAM - Learn about physics.
